The XJTLU Academic Conference Information Publishing System is the University’s unified platform for creating and publishing academic conferences.
The system is deployed and locally customised based on Indico, an open-source conference management system widely used by universities and research institutions worldwide. It supports the main processes involved in academic conference information publishing.
The system is available to all XJTLU staff. Users can access it through the University’s single sign-on (SSO) system.
Main functions include:
-
creating and publishing academic conference information webpages;
-
managing online participant registration and payment;
-
handling abstract submission, review, and feedback;
-
publishing conference programmes and agendas; and
-
sending automated email notifications and reminders.
When to Use the System
If you are looking for a cost-effective and efficient tool to create and manage an academic conference webpage, and need to support common functions such as conference information publishing, online registration, payment, abstract submission, review management and programme publication, the Academic Conference Information Publishing System can provide a unified solution.
The system supports the main stages of conference information publication and is suitable for most conference scenarios that do not require a highly customised design, unique functional structure, or independent domain arrangement.
If your conference requires a highly customised design, special functions beyond the system’s standard features, or a dedicated domain outside the system’s standard structure, the tool may not fully meet your needs.
