The Joint SCMT7 & ICSBS2027 Conference will provide an international forum to share advances in sustainable construction materials, technologies, buildings, and structures.
The conference will give strong priority to construction materials, including low-carbon cementitious materials, concrete, recycled aggregates, industrial by-products, bio-based materials, advanced composites, durability, service-life performance, characterisation, circularity, and life-cycle assessment.
It will also welcome contributions on sustainable structural design, smart construction, resilient buildings, urban planning and design, architectural science, AI and digital technologies, heritage adaptation, and education for sustainable development.
The conference aims to connect materials, structures, architecture, urban systems, and intelligent technologies to support low-carbon, resilient, and sustainable built environments.
Papers are invited on all construction materials, including (but not limited to):
aggregates, bitumen, cementitious materials (fly ash, wood ash, slag, silica fume, natural pozzolans, and related materials), concrete, glass, gypsum, lime, masonry, metals, plastics, rock, timber, and other materials used in the built environment. Submissions on paints, adhesives, preservatives, and preservation processes are also encouraged.

REVIEW PROCESS
All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review by the Scientific Committee based on:

PRESENTATION FORMATS
Oral presentations: 15 minutes + 5 minutes Q&A
Poster presentations: A0 portrait (841 × 1189 mm)
REGISTRATION & PUBLICATION
At least one author per accepted abstract must register for the conference by 31 March 2027. Selected abstracts will be invited to submit full papers for peer-reviewed publication in selected journals.
