 igence is rapidly transforming communication\, media\, journalism\, educat
 ion\, creative industries\, and everyday social life. AI systems are incre
 asingly involved in how information is produced\, circulated\, interpreted
 \, and governed. They shape everyday interactions\, influence teaching and
  learning\, affect journalistic practices\, and create new forms of cultur
 al production\, fan engagement\, and human-machine communication. At the s
 ame time\, AI raises important questions about labor\, creativity\, emotio
 ns\, resistance\, representation\, ethics\, social trust\, and the future 
 of media and cultural industries. These developments create new opportunit
 ies for creativity\, participation\, and cross-cultural exchange\, but the
 y also require critical reflection on power\, inequality\, representation\
 , ethics\, and social trust.\nThe conference Artificial Intelligence\, Com
 munication\, and Social Transformation aims to bring together scholars\, P
 hD students\, early career researchers\, and practitioners to discuss how 
 AI is reshaping communication and society. The conference will be organize
 d around the Department of Media and Communication’s four research clust
 ers: Digital Technology and Changing Society\; Culture\, Creativity and Co
 mmunication\; Journalism and Society\; and Screen Studies and Popular Cult
 ure.\nThe conference welcomes theoretical\, empirical\, methodological\, a
 nd practice-oriented contributions from media and communication studies an

 ubmission Guidelines\nAll submissions should be in English.\nAbstracts sho
 uld be approximately 200 to 250 words and include:\n·        Title

 hors\n·        Research purpose or main argument\n·       
  Methodology or approach\, where applicable\n·        Main finding
 s\, expected findings\, or contribution\n·        3 to 5 keywords\
 nPanel proposals are also welcome. A panel proposal should be 500 to 600 w
 ords in total and include a short description of the panel as a whole\, to
 gether with brief abstracts of the individual papers. Panels include 4–5
  papers and last 90 minutes. Include the names\, affiliations\, and contac

 nVenue and Format\nThe conference will be held at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool
  University\, SIP South Campus\, Suzhou\, China. We encourage scholars to 
 attend in person at the venue. However\, an online participation option wi
 ll also be available for international attendees. Further details about th
 e venue\, travel\, and accommodation will be shared closer to the conferen
 ce date.\nRegistration\nNo registration fee is required. Participants are 
 expected to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses. Once accept
 ed\, attendees are expected to RSVP/confirm attendance via email.\nScholar
 ship for Doctoral Students\nDoctoral Student Scholarship: Selected doctora
 l student presenters will receive a scholarship covering a two-night hotel
  stay. Conference meals and dinner will also be provided\, as they are for
  all participants. Please note that the scholarship is limited and will be
  awarded on a selective basis. To be considered\, doctoral students must s
 ubmit a full paper by 31 July after their abstract has been accepted.\nPos
